5th Ave. N. Improvements

Project Overview

The Florida Department of Transportation is planning to resurface most of 5th Avenue North and is actively exploring improvements to be constructed at the same time. The City’s Complete Streets Implementation Plan suggests introducing safety improvements to reduce crashes and add new pedestrian crosswalks at 55th St., 46th St., 40th St., and 22nd St. We appreciate your interest and input that will be used to inform the project design as we work toward improved public safety.
