UTILITY LIEN RESEARCH/ PAYOFF INFORMATION

Utility lien research and payoff requests are available by internet, mail or at the Special Assessments counter. City staff will perform the research and provide the results/payoff. The City of St. Petersburg assumes no liability for errors or omissions contained in the research response.

We only provide balances due on outstanding utility liens and active utility accounts. We do not provide recording information for outstanding, paid liens or released liens and we do not provide photocopies of recorded documents. Documentation for research results will be the utility Lien Research form containing the City’s response.

Utility lien records are also available to the public for research. Anyone may perform such research at no charge during normal business hours at the Special Assessment counter. Upon completion of the research, City staff will provide updated payoff figures for each outstanding lien.
