With roots dating back to 1917, the Morean Arts Center has focused on an innovative community-oriented approach to art and arts education. The Morean is known as one of the most successful visual arts organizations in the region, offering studio classes from painting and drawing to metalsmithing, sculpture and digital photography; mounting approximately 15 – 20 contemporary art exhibitions a year in our many galleries; and providing a wide variety of family and children's programming, school tours, the highly-praised Word & Image program, summer camp and special events.

Museum of Fine Arts

The elegant Palladian-style building combines the styles of a classic art museum and a Mediterranean villa at home in Florida's tropical climate. Designed by John Volk, the building itself a work of art, has twenty galleries, some small and intimate, others more spacious. The Museum also has splendid Membership and Sculpture Gardens.

The museum presents the historic voice of one segment of the St. Petersburg community in the perspective of local, regional, and national history. It is another demonstration of the commitment to revitalize the Midtown St. Petersburg area. The museum joins Mercy Hospital at the Johnnie Ruth Clarke Health Center, the Royal Theater Boys and Girls Club, and the renovated Manhattan Casino as evidence of the renaissance of this area.

Youth Arts Corp www.youthartscorps.org
 The Youth Arts Corps is a free youth development, arts education and job training program that uses the fine arts to help youth reach their potential. The Corps offers three after-school and summer arts education programs and an artist-in-residence program. All arts workshops are taught by professional artists.
