The St. Petersburg Business Assistance Center (BAC) is your one-stop facility for starting or growing your existing small business. The BAC provides business counseling, training and access to capital and credit for startups as well as established businesses seeking growth or specialized assistance. Our Services:

The Business Assistance Center (BAC) provides case management and follow-up services for the creation, retention and expansion of small businesses. Specifically, the BAC offers:

main_arrow Business counseling, access to financial assistance, contracting and procurement through the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program, technical assistance, mentoring and training workshops.

main_arrow The Midtown Corridor Case Management Program – The BAC staff works directly with Midtown businesses for business startup, retention and expansion.

main_arrow The Business Resource Center (BRC) – a one-stop resources for providing personal computers with Internet access, interactive videos and an extensive business reference library for business planning and research. The BRC is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 5:00 p.m.

main_arrow Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program -- certifies small businesses and provides technical assistance to enhance contacting and procurement opportunities with the City of St. Petersburg. e-mail us at "mailto:SBEPrograms@stpete.org"

main_arrow The Florida Small Business Development Center at the University of South Florida (USFSBDC) -- provides business counseling and training to start and grow your business.

main_arrow Tampa Bay Black Business Investment Corporation (TBBBIC) -- offers technical assistance to small businesses and assist with accessing capital.

main_arrow Eckerd College Intern Volunteer Program – provides hands-on assistance to businesses participating in the Midtown Corridor Case Management Program.
