The Billing & Collections (B&C) Department oversees many different functions within the City. The activity that most customers are familiar with is the billing and collection of utility bills for the City of St. Petersburg. This department also oversees the collection of business taxes, parking enforcement in the downtown area, collection of parking tickets, enforcement of the police false alarm program and the collection of special assessments. Police False Alarms - If you have an alarm system for your home or your business it must be registered.
Special Collections Office - This office is the central collection agency for the City of St. Petersburg. This division is responsible for assisting in the coordination and collection of accounts receivables on a City-wide basis which include City invoices, returned checks, and most past due accounts.
