Parking Enforcement Group
The Parking Enforcement Group and Payment Citation Office are a division of the Transportation and Parking Management Department
This Group is responsible for the routine enforcement of all parking regulations and ordinances enacted by the City of St. Petersburg. The Parking Enforcement Officers also ensure more efficient vehicle turnover in the downtown corridor and business district of St. Petersburg and are instrumental in promoting good relations between the City and members of the community, local business persons and visiting tourists.
Parking Enforcement Officers have the authority to issue parking tickets to those in violation of regulations governing the downtown business district and any other areas designated by management. Since the downtown area is constantly changing, these areas are subject to change.
The area enforced by the Parking Enforcement Division is concentrated in the downtown corridor and business district of St. Petersburg. This area is divided into sectors, normally covered by one PEO per sector.
