Young Naturalist Camp
Young Naturalist Camp is filled with a variety of exciting activities including nature hikes, games, animal and plant studies, crafts and wildlife watching. A field trip to Lowry Park Zoo is scheduled for one day.

The Goal of Young Naturalist Camp is for campers to explore and learn about their natural world, encourage personal creativity, and learn to share discoveries by working together and having fun.

Pioneer Camp
Join Emily and the gang for Pioneer Camp, where campers experience a time when family, friendhsip and character were as important as food, water and shelter. Young pioneers will learn through activities adapted from the Association of Experiential Education to foster team building, leadership and self esteem. Campers will go back in time where learning was fun, and fun was possible without batteries and a joystick! This will have hand-on experiences at the blacksmith shop and print shop. Family and friends are invited to join us on Friday afternoon for our Pioneer Jamboree.

Jungle Boogie Camp
Summer camp designed for the younger child. Each day our program includes a combination of nature stories, songs, games, crafts, and hikes to explore the outdoors.  Our goal is to nurture a child's curiosity, help them acquire developmentally appropriate skills, and instill appreciation and respect for our natural world.

Herpetology Summer Camp and Wildlife Ecology Summer Camp
This popular, weeklong nature camp has the inquisitive child in mind.  Campers explore the fascinating world of amphibians and reptiles side-by-side with herpetologist George L. Heinrich.  Through up-close encounters with a variety of animals, such as gopher tortoises, frogs, lizards, and snakes, campers learn about ecology and conservation of amphibians and reptiles.

Wildlife Ecology camp is designed for children with a strong interest in nature. Campers will explore the ecology and conservation of Florida's wildlife and wildlands with field biologist and environmental educator George L.Heinrich. A blend of classroom and field sessions will include hands-on activites, guest presentations, and exploration of the preserve's diverse habitats, where campers will practice their nature detective skills.

Summer Nature Day Camp
This camp offers a unique outdoor learning experience with relevant natural history topics everyday and exciting adventures, crafts and activities. Combined with an ecology-based curriculum, this camp offers the best of earth science study and traditional camp experiences. Children learn about Florida's rare plants and animals, get dirty during dipnetting, observe wildlife while hiking preserve trails, acquire basic birding skills, and journey to Fort DeSoto to study the wide variety of habitats in real Florida.
