Spring Camps are Monday through Friday, March 26 to 30, 2012. 

Young Naturalist Camp
Environmental Studies Area - Oak Hall • 2900 31st St S
Age: five to six years
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., extended care 8 to 5 p.m.
Cost per week: ADVANTAGE Card & Friends of Boyd Hill Nature Preserve: $110
Non-members: $130
Extended care: $25

The Young Naturalist Camp
focuses on different nature and science
topics. Exciting activities include nature
hikes, games, and animal and plant studies. Our
goal is to explore the natural world, learn to share
discoveries, work together, encourage personal
creativity, and have fun.

Mammalogy Camp
Lake Maggiore Environmental Education Center
1101 Country Club Way South
Age: Seven to 11
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., extended care 8 to 5 p.m.

Pioneer Camp
Boyd Hill Nature Preserve Pinellas Pioneer Settlement
Pioneer House • 3100 31st Street South
Age: Seven to 13
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., extended care 8 to 5 pm.

ADVANTAGE Card Members and  Members of Pinellas Pioneer Settlement: $110 Non-members: $130
Extended care: $25

Program:
Campers experience a time when family,
friendship, and character were as important as
food, water, and shelter. Activities are adapted from
the Association of Experiential Education to foster
team building, leadership, and self esteem.

Jungle Boogie
Boyd Hill Nature Preserve Lake Maggiore
Environmental Education Center • 1101 Country Club Way S
Age: Three and four . (Children must be potty trained.)
Time: 9 a.m. to noon

Program:
Each day our program includes a combination of
nature stories, songs, games, crafts and hikes to
explore the outdoors. Our goal is to nurture a child's
curiosity, help them acquire developmentally
appropriate skills, and instill appreciation and
respect for our natural world.
