Herpetology Camp Children will learn about the fascinating world of amphibians and reptiles with this program presented by George L. Heinrich, a herpetologist and environmental educator. Students will handle non-venemous snakes, learn how to use binoculars and practice safe wildlife watching, look for alligators from the boardwalks, watch gopher tortoises along the trails, and participate in fun-filled environmental games and crafts. Valuable lessons include safety in the woods, venemous snake identification, and respect for wildlife.
