Boyd Hill Nature Preserve needs your help!
Boyd Hill Nature Preserve
1101 Country Club Way South
Time: 9 a.m.
We will be having a workday in the preserve to remove air potatoes and other invasive exotic species. These invasive plants attack our native ecosystems everyday. Their growth rates are usually very fast. Since they are outside of their normal habitat and usually country, there are no natural controls for their populations. These plants grow at an exponential rate. In order to keep the preserve in a condition that is beneficial to the animals and the rest of the plants, we will be hosting monthly work days. We need your help. Please come by or call to sign up. Dress appropriately and wear closed toe shoes.
