RAIN BARRELS -Have you ever thought "What a waste!" when you see the rain water pouring out of your gutter down spout and then down the street? Learn how to save that water in a recycled plastic barrel for later use. This water is safe for use on your potted plants, vegetable and herb gardens, and special plant collections. CANOE LAKE MAGGIORE - Join trained canoe guides as we paddle from Lake Maggiore Park to Dell Holmes Park and back again, investigating the shoreline along the way. Meet at Lake Maggiore Park (MLK and 37th - 40th Ave S) Children must be 8 years old and all minors must be accompanies by an adult. Participants must register by Nov 20th. Cost: $10 per person or $20.00 per canoe; maximum 3 people per canoe.

Each day will include hands-on activities, nature exploration, challenge course elements, and being good stewards to our planet.
