Help City Leaders Prepare the FY2014 Budget
The city of St. Petersburg is currently preparing the Fiscal Year 2014 Budget, which will go into effect October 1, 2013. As Mayor Foster and members of City Council work to finalize next year’s city budget, public input is requested to help city leaders determine funding priorities in order to balance the proposed budget.
City residents are invited to participate in the budget process by sharing their thoughts and ideas with the mayor and City Council members at the final public Budget Summit beginning at 6 p.m.
Final FY14 Public Budget Summit:
- Wednesday, June 12 – Enoch Davis Center – 1111 - 18th Ave. S., 6:00 pm
FY14 Public Budget Hearings:
- First Public Hearing – Thursday, September 12 (to adopt tentative budget and tax rate) – City Council Chamber – City Hall – 175 Fifth St. N., 6 p.m.
- Second Public Hearing – Thursday, September 26 (to adopt final budget and tax rate and approve Capital Improvement Program) – City Council Chamber – City Hall – 175 Fifth St. N., 6 p.m.
All Public Budget Hearings begin at 6 p.m.
