GRANT FUND SOURCES The city of St. Petersburg distributes approximately $1.8 million in grant funds annually for social programs, arts support, events, neighborhood projects and more.

Social Action Funding
At this time no decision has been made as to the FY10 budget to support funding for the Social Action Funding program. Please monitor this website for further information.

Programs/projects may include homeless shelters or services, public facility improvements, the development of parks and community centers, economic development, rehabilitation of housing and homeownership assistance.
St. Petersburg Arts Grants Program
City Arts grants are available for eligible nonprofit cultural organizations and programs. In 2008 applications will be accepted for Mini Grants and Special Project Grants only.
Events/sponsors applied for funds Programs include New Year event, art festival, Festival of States, Blues Fest Ribfest and Jazz Lunch in the Park, and Sunshine City Band
Projects eligible must impact crime prevention, neighborhood safety, drug abuse education & prevention, or school resource officer programs, such as T-shirts and hats for Crime Watch teams Application (PDF)
Contracts The administration and oversight of contracts in the city's enterprise resource planning system Oracle is coordinated and managed by the CSP Contracts and Grants Officer in the Budget and Management Department.
