The City’s Office of Cultural Affairs curates the success of St. Petersburg's cultural institutions and local artists, who contribute significantly to St. Petersburg's overall economy and are a driving force behind the cultural fabric and creative nature of the city, its residents and its visitors. Partnering with the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance, the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and various cultural stakeholders, the Office of Cultural Affairs endeavors to advance St. Petersburg as a major southeastern cultural center, anchored by world-class museums, a thriving community of artists and craftspeople, multiple arts districts offering culturally-based programming, and an award-winning performing arts community.
