Building on the past, the city is embarking upon the task of creating its first master plan for the downtown waterfront since the early 1900s. The city’s earliest citizens had the vision and foresight to protect and preserve its downtown public waterfront, considered today to be the city's greatest asset. Nearly 100 years later, St. Petersburg's citizens are being asked again to and the next generations and to determine the future for one of the nation's largest and most beautiful urban waterfronts.
www.StPeteInnoVision.com is a new meeting room where residents can share their innovative and visionary ideas with their city. We begin this new platform by examining our downtown waterfront as the city embarks on its Downtown Waterfront Master Plan. Please join our discussion and follow along as many different questions will be posed to you and your community.
