|Building upon the past, St. Petersburg is commencing the task of creating its first master plan for the downtown waterfront since the early 1900s. The city’s earliest citizens had the vision and foresight to protect and preserve its downtown public waterfront, considered today to be St. Petersburg's greatest physical asset. Today, our citizens are being asked to thoughtfully consider this history, their own experiences with the downtown public waterfront and how to help improve the future for one of the nation's largest and most beautiful urban waterfronts.|
