|Building upon the past, St. Petersburg is commencing the task of creating its first master plan for the downtown waterfront since the early 1900s. The city’s earliest citizens had the vision and foresight to protect and preserve its downtown public waterfront, considered today to be St. Petersburg's greatest physical asset. Today, our citizens are being asked to thoughtfully consider this history, their own experiences with the downtown public waterfront and how to help improve the future for one of the nation's largest and most beautiful urban waterfronts.|

Phase II: Creative Workshops
Phase II includes a four-day creative workshop to share what the Consultant's planning team has learned through the public input, technical inventory and stakeholder and focus group meetings. The creative workshop will also include development of guiding principles and a set of initial planning concepts.
Phase I Technical Inventory
The next portion of Phase I includes a technical inventory and analysis of existing assets. This portion will conclude with publication of a site inventory workbook and the scheduling of a community meeting.
