Organization of an area Technology and Manufacturing Council in conjunction with the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce was one of the first initiatives met.
The second and by far the most important to the area, was the establishment of B2B On The Bay, a technology and manufacturing directory that showcases local companies in order to encourage business and provide recognition to the Tampa Bay Area as a premier supplier of products and services.
