St. Petersburg Fire and Rescue utilizes twelve ALS Units and is The Principal ALS First Responder within the Pinellas County EMS system.

Career opportunity is available within the Department in either the EMS Division or the Fire Suppression Division. Our organization has several Specialty Teams which members can join. These important Teams include SWAT, Dive, USAR and Haz Mat. Further, if the applicant is interested, there are several leadership roles within the department. They include College Preceptor, Department Preceptor, and CME Instructor.
