Viewing Requirements
Internet Explorer 4.x or higher*(recommended)
Netscape Navigator 4.x or higher
Recommended Internet Connection - Cable or DSL service / Minimum is 56k modem.
Resolution of at least 800 x 600 is recommended.
Step 2 - Install the Plug-in
Go to the desktop, click on the icon that was saved and follow the install instructions.
Step 3 - Start Using the GIS Mapping System
After you have installed the plugin, click here to begin using the GIS Mapping System.
Instructions for GIS system:
You can use the GIS system to view a map of the City and then see the zoning for any property in the city in two ways. After downloading and installing the free plug-in, click "Begin GIS" -- this will bring up the GIS system page. There is a column on the left side of that page where you can check the box next to "zoning" to view the zoning citywide. You can use the tools in the toolbar at the top of the page to zoom in on a specific area or parcel in the City. Once you have zoomed in close enough to see the street and parcel lines, in addition to other parcel-specific information, zoning values will be displayed as you move the cursor over the map. This parcel specific information is available whether the zoning layer is turned on or not. Click "getting Started" or the yellow question mark for help navigating the map. The page also provides a link to the Development Services web page where all the zoning district regulations are available for review.
