The city of St. Petersburg distributes approximately $1.8 million in grant funds annually for social programs, arts support, events, neighborhood projects and more.

Programs/projects may include homeless shelters or services, public facility improvements, the development of parks and community centers, economic development, rehabilitation of housing and homeownership assistance.
St. Petersburg Arts Grants Program
City Arts grants are available for eligible nonprofit cultural
organizations and programs. In 2007 applications will be
accepted for Mini Grants and Special Project Grants only.
Events/sponsors applied for funds
Programs include New Year event, art festival, Festival of States, Blues Fest Ribfest and Jazz Lunch in the Park, and Sunshine City Band
