For Contractors

Contractors must meet all city, county, state and applicable Federal  licensing requirements, including adequate insurance and worker's compensation coverage.  Evidence of these requirements shall be provided the city upon request.

All required building permits must be obtained prior to commencement work.

All workmanship must conform to the construction industry standards and the City's minimum housing standards and comply with the City's Code of Ordinances.  Construction quality must be acceptable to the City and the property owners.

The contractor shall agree to maintain current licenses, insurances and applicable bonds as required by the city of St. Petersburg.

The contractor will perform the work in accordance with the description of work, general specifications and all applicable city, state, county and/or Federal codes and zoning regulations and will be subject to a final inspection by the city.

If the contractors work performance is found to be unsatisfactory or if the contract relations between the contractor, homeowner and/or other parties is found to be unsatisfactory, the city may, without notice,  remove the contractor from the mailing list.  Any future bids submitted by the contractor may not be accepted.

The contractor shall abide with all applicable equal employment opportunity regulations.

The city and/or a property owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
