CITY OFFICES CLOSED FRIDAY JULY 3; Residential Trash, Curbside Recycling Collections NOT Affected

St. Petersburg, Fla. (June 26, 2015) – During the Fourth of July holiday week, residential trash collections in St. Petersburg will NOT be affected.

City offices will be closed Friday, July 3, for the Independence Day holiday including City Hall, Municipal Services Center, community libraries, recreation centers, Enoch Davis Center, Sunshine Center, Dwight H. Jones Neighborhood Center, Jamestown Apartments & Townhomes office, Coliseum, Mahaffey Theater at the Duke Energy Center for the Arts, The Greenhouse and Sunken Gardens’ business offices.

St. Petersburg Libraries will also be closed on Saturday, July 4.

Facilities OPEN to the public on Friday, July 3 include Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, city golf courses (Mangrove Bay and Cypress Links), North Shore Aquatic Complex and eight neighborhood pools, Municipal Beach concession stand on Treasure Island, Municipal Marina Ship’s Store, Sanitation Department brush sites and Sunken Gardens attraction (business offices closed). Residential Trash Pickup.  There are no changes to residential trash collections for St. Petersburg customers during the holiday week, June 29 to July 3.

New: Curbside recycling customers who have pink Zone 7 stickers on their blue containers should expect their first collection on Friday, July 3.
