AARP Tax Assistance Available at Main Library Wed. & Thurs. Through April 14
St. Petersburg, FL (February 8, 2016) – In partnership with The AARP, Inc., free tax assistance will be offered at the St. Petersburg Main Library, 3745 Ninth Avenue North, throughout tax season. Assistance will be available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., from February 3 until April 14.
Staffed by trained volunteers, the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program offers free, individualized tax assistance for low- to moderate-income taxpayers.
The St. Petersburg Library System offers this program as a part of its Community Development Initiative, a method to enhance the provision of resources, services, and programs focused on the Education, Economy, Ecology, Equity, Efficiency and Engagement of our community.
