CHANNEL SWITCH AFFECTS SOME CITY GOVERNMENT CHANNEL VIEWERS

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (January 28, 2015) – Beginning Monday, February 9, viewers who watch St. Petersburg’s city government channel, StPeteTV, on Bright House Networks cable packages will tune to channel 641 for the latest city information. Until the switch, StPeteTV aired city programming on Bright House channel 615. The channel switch will not affect customers of Verizon Fi0s channel 20 and Wow! Channel 15.

Programming on StPeteTV will not be affected by the channel switch. Viewers may still watch meetings, including St. Petersburg City Council, Council Committee, Code Enforcement, and Civilian Police Review, live and in replay, on channel 641, as well as view coverage of the new Pier process and Downtown Waterfront Master Plan. Popular and informational programs like St. Pete Extra!, 100 Years of Spring Training, Water Wise, and others will also be available on channel 641.

Additionally, StPeteTV is available for streaming at www.stpete.org/stpetetv, while videos of past programs may be viewed on the city’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/StPeteTV
