Historic Roser Park Seeks Public Art Proposals
St. Petersburg, Fla. (February 29, 2016) – The Historic Roser Park Neighborhood Association recently completed a process to revise its neighborhood plan. Designated as St. Petersburg’s first Historic District, the new community plan includes the possibility of installing public art within public spaces in the Historic Roser Park community.
Historic Roser Park Neighborhood Association invites artists to apply for a public art project in the Roser Park neighborhood. Artists must have professional experience with exterior sites. The association seeks art that will creatively relate to its unique geography, architecture, and/or history.
Visit www.historicroserpark.org/publicart for more information about Historic Roser Park, project requirements and how to apply. The project budget is $65,000 inclusive. Deadline to apply is Friday, April 15, 2016. This project is a collaboration with the city of St. Petersburg. Queries may be addressed to: Ann Wykell, email@example.com
