Food for Thought March 22 Workshop CANCELLED at St Pete Library

Update on Pinellas County Extension Free Workshops at St. Pete Libraries:
The FOOD FOR THOUGHT Workshop Scheduled for Tues. March 22 has been CANCELLED 
Next Free Workshop at Johnson Library: ENERGY EFFICIENCY April 18

St. Petersburg, Fla. (March 18, 2016) -- The University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, Pinellas County Extension, will offer a free workshop at St. Petersburg Libraries.

Please note: The FOOD FOR THOUGHT workshop originally scheduled March 22, at the St. Petersburg Main Library, has been CANCELLED. The workshop presented by the Pinellas County UF/IFAS Extension, about food waste, its impact on the planet, and ways to reduce food waste may be held at a later date. Register at https://stpetefoodwaste.eventbrite.com.    

The next free workshop presented by County Extension Services, about ENERGY EFFICIENCY, will be on Monday, April 18, at 5:30 p.m., at the Mirror Lake Library, 280 Fifth Street North, in downtown St. Petersburg, Fla., 33701. Participants will learn to use an energy monitor (available for checkout at St. Petersburg libraries), how to prevent phantom energy loss, and lots of energy-saving tips.
