38TH AVENUE ROAD RESURFACING PROJECT PAVES WAY FOR SAFER TRAVEL

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (February 17, 2015) – Temporary lane restrictions will be in effect on 38th Avenue North from Fourth to First Streets through Friday, February 20, as crews resurface the road and install new traffic markings. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Motorists will also see a new traffic signal, located at Third Street, activated on Monday, February 23.

The project is part of a Florida Department of Transportation project to improve safety on the busy roadway.
