STORYTIME GUEST READERS HELP CELEBRATE BLACK HISTORY FEB. 23-27

St. Petersburg, Fla. (February 19, 2015) – The city of St. Petersburg is excited to celebrate Black History Month 2015 and engage with youth through Storytime. Sponsored by the St. Petersburg Library System and co-sponsored  by the weeREAD Literacy Program and St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation Department, Storytimes will feature guest readers, including Mayor Rick Kriseman, Deputy Mayor Kanika Tomalin, City Council representatives, as well as other city administrators and staff at the following venues:

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23 
Mirror Lake Community Library, 280 Fifth St. N. - Preschool Storytime - 10:15 a.m.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24
Johnson Community Library, 1059 18th Ave. S. - Preschool Storytime - 10:15 a.m.
West Community Library, 6700 Eighth Ave. N. - Preschool Storytime - 10:30 a.m.
North Community Library, 861 70th Ave. N. - Family Storytime - 6:30 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 25   
Main Library, 3745 Ninth Ave. N. - Preschool Storytime - 10:15 a.m.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26   
South Community Library, 2300 Roy Hanna Drive S. - Preschool Storytime 11:00 a.m.
Main Library, 3745 Ninth Ave. N.  - Family Storytime - 6:30 p.m.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27
Childs Park Community Library, 691 43rd St. S. - After School Storytime - 4:30 p.m.
Gladden Park Recreation Center, 3901 30th Ave. N. - After School Program - 4:30 p.m.
