ST. PETERSBURG BEACHES OPENED AFTER TESTING REVEALS GOOD WATER QUALITY
ST. PETERSBURG, FL (June 10, 2017) – As of mid-day Saturday, all city beaches in St. Petersburg are opened for swimming.
The bacteriological results for the samples collected yesterday (6/9) for Maximo Beach and Lassing Park were within the “good” category for Enterococci.
The warning signs have been removed at both Lassing Park and Maximo Beach.
Listed below are the results and Water Quality Category according to the Healthy Beaches Program for Lassing Park and Maximo Beach from the June 9th sampling event.
Lassing Park 4 U Good
Maximo Beach 32 B Good
Testing will continue on a regular (weekly basis) at locations throughout the city
