Recreational Water Quality Results updated

St. Petersburg, Fla.  (August 10, 2016)  --In an effort to keep citizens and visitors well informed about their swimming options, every Thursday, results from mid-week water sampling are posted on the St. Petersburg City website at http://www.stpete.org/water/waterquality.php

Florida Healthy Beaches Program Categories are:
Good = 0-35 Enterococci per 100 milliliters of marine water
Moderate = 36-70 Enterococci per 100 milliliters of marine water
Poor = 71 or greater Enterococci per 100 milliliters of marine water

Listed below are the results and Water Quality Category according to the Healthy Beaches Program for the Beaches and Lassing Park from the August 9th sampling event.

Lassing Park  16  Good

Maximo Beach  4  Good

Northshore Beach  420  Poor

Spa Beach  880  Poor

Listed below are the results and Water Quality Category according to the Healthy Beaches Program for Northshore and Spa Beaches from the August 10th sampling event.

Northshore Beach   8  Good

 Spa Beach   4  Good
