Check Sprinkler System Time Clocks After Power Loss

St. Petersburg, Fla.  (September 22, 2017) -- St. Petersburg’s Water Resources Department reminds residents to check their sprinkler system time clock’s programming if you were affected by power interruptions due to Hurricane Irma. Failure to check settings could lead to high water use and non-compliance with current watering restrictions. While many time clocks contain backup batteries, they may fail to retain settings after an extended power outage.
