St. Petersburg, Fla.  (December 21, 2017) – The weekly Recreational Water sampling and testing has been completed by the Environmental Compliance Division of St. Petersburg Water Resources Department on the near-shore waters along Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

Listed below are the results and Water Quality Category according to the Healthy Beaches Program for Lassing Park and the Beaches from the December 13th sampling event.

Lassing Park    140 CFU/100 ml     Poor

Maximo Beach     12 CFU/100 ml     Good

Northshore Beach    20 CFU/100 ml    Good

Treasure Island Beach    4 CFU/100 ml    Good

While not technically a beach -- and while it does not require Recreational Sampling/Healthy Beaches protocols to be assigned -- the waters near Lassing Park WILL be resampled today.  Updated test results will be made available as soon as the results are confirmed.
