Sewer Repairs to close lanes on 38th Avenue N

St. Petersburg, Fla.  (January 12, 2018) – Emergency sewer repairs will close three lanes of 38th Avenue N just to the east of 49th Street N beginning Monday, January 15.

The center turn lane westbound at Utica Street N -- as well as one travel lane both eastbound and westbound at that intersection -- will be closed so that crews can investigate and repair a blockage in the sewer main and adjoining lateral.

While there are no established detours around the work site, drivers are advised there may be back-ups in both directions as just one (curb) lane of traffic will be able to pass around the excavation site between Utica Street N and 47th Street N.

It is expected that the work could take up to a week to complete.
