Recreational Water Quality Results updated

St. Petersburg, Fla. (June 28, 2018) -- In an effort to keep citizens and visitors well informed about their swimming options, every week, results from water sampling are posted on the St. Petersburg City website at

The latest results may be accessed on a user-friendly interactive map.

Florida Healthy Beaches Program Categories are:
Good = 0-35 Enterococci per 100 milliliters of marine water
Moderate = 36-70 Enterococci per 100 milliliters of marine water
Poor = 71 or greater Enterococci per 100 milliliters of marine water

Listed below are the results and Water Quality Category according to the Healthy Beaches Program for the Beaches and Lassing Park from the June 27th sampling event.

Lassing Park  28  Good

Maximo Beach  4  Good

Northshore Beach  4  Good

Treasure Island  4  Good

All of these samples are taken and testing is being done in accordance with the water testing protocols outlined in the City’s Water Quality Report Card
