Score a Home Run "Reading with the Rays" Summer Program at Your Local Library

Join us as we celebrate the “Reading with the Rays” summer reading program at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 10, at the St. Petersburg Main Library, 3745 9th Ave. N. Children, teens and their caregivers are invited to enjoy the free program, hear a story read by a Tampa Bay Rays baseball player, while interacting with the Rays Street Team and DJ Kitty.

The “Reading with the Rays” summer program allows children and teens to “read your way to the ball park” by logging hours spent reading on a game card. For every hour read, children and teens advance around bases on the game card. When they arrive at a base, they can pick up a reward at their local library. When they reach home plate, they will receive a voucher for tickets to see the Tampa Bay Rays in action!
