Affordable Care Act Enrollment Assistance Offered on Saturdays at Main Library
Healthcare Navigators Available Nov. 3, 10, 17, 24; Dec. 1, 8, 15
ST. PETERSBURG, FL (October 22, 2018) – Ask questions and learn more about health insurance options available under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) during free Saturday sessions with a Healthcare Navigator Nov. 3-Dec. 15 at the St. Petersburg Main Library, 3745 9th Ave. N. Open enrollment for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act is November 1-December 15.
Healthcare Navigators will be on hand every Saturday (Nov. 3, 10, 17, 24; Dec. 1, 8, 15) 1:30-5:30 p.m. to educate the public on individual and family healthcare options available through the Affordable Care Act, including price packages, benefits and determining eligibility for coverage. They will also be able to explore available free or low-cost programs, provide referrals to alternative medical care coverage and assist with enrollment through the Healthcare Marketplace. All sessions are free and open to the public.
The free Healthcare Navigator service is offered by the Family Health Care Foundation, a Tampa Bay nonprofit.
