Bob Turner came to the city in 1995 from the city of Charlotte, NC. He is responsible for the cost effective maintenance, repair and timely replacement of the city's fleet of 3200 units of equipment.

He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Saint Louis University. He is recognized in the Who's Who in Government Service. He is a Certified Equipment Manager and Certified Public Works Professional.

Bob is an active member of the Association of Equipment Management Professionals having served as national president, senior vice president, vice president, finance, and vice president, government. Bob is also active in the American Public Works Association and has served on national boards and focus groups. He also works with developmentally disabled folks through the Handicapped Young Adults, Inc., serving as president of that organization and is president and CEO of Shepherds Garden, Inc.
