John C. Wolfe joined the City in 1975 as an assistant city attorney. He advanced to the position of city attorney where, as head of the Legal Department, he supervises litigation and administers the other legal affairs of the city, including providing advice and counsel to the Mayor, City Council, City Departments, Committees and Boards.
He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a juris doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law. He is board certified by the Florida Bar in city, county and local government law.
John is an adjunct professor at Stetson University College of Law where he teaches the Civil Government Law Clinic and is a member of the Steering Committee for the Florida Municipal Attorneys Association.
