Chris Ballestra joined the city in 2008 following a 20-year career in corporate real estate including asset management and development. He is currently responsible for coordination of development projects and programs with the development community and city departments involved in review, permitting and the site approval processes. He also oversees management of city special projects, including the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, downtown streetscaping and annexation programs.
He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Chris has been affiliated with and continues to participate in many professional real estate organizations, including CoreNet Global, Urban Land Institute and BOMA.
