Codes Compliance Assistance Director
Todd originally joined the city of St. Petersburg in 1988, and recently returned as the director of the Codes Compliance Assistance Department in 2014. Todd and his staff are responsible for inspection of property dwellings as well as ensuring the adequacy and structural safety of both residential and commercial structures.
During a city career spanning 25 years, Todd has worked in various positions in different departments including Recreation, Sanitation, Downtown Enterprise Facilities, Internal Audit, Information and Communication Services, Intergovernmental Relations, as well as Codes Compliance Assistance, where he previously served as director until 2010.
His background includes business systems analysis, contract management, capital project management, facility operations, and lobbyist. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a bachelor's degree in political science. He is a recipient of the city's Hats Off Award for his service in the Sanitation Department.
Todd is a current member of the Florida Association of Code Enforcement. His position keeps him actively involved in all neighborhood associations in the city and the Council of Neighborhood Associations.
