Anne A. Fritz
Anne Fritz joined the city of St. Petersburg as Finance Director in June 2010. Her current responsibilities include preparing financial reports, structuring the city's debt issues, investing the city's reserves, and protecting the city from economic fluctuations. She is currently focused on developing St. Petersburg's financial staff and strengthening its future financial capabilities.
She has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio, a master's degree in Public Administration from Cleveland State University, and has completed her course work and comprehensive examination towards a doctorate in Urban Affairs and Public Policy from Cleveland State.
Anne is a Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO). She is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association of the U.S. and Canada and Florida GFOA. She serves on the GFOA's Committee on Accounting, Auditing and Financial Reporting, and has served on several task forces for the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. She previously was a member of the Ohio GFOA board of trustees and was the Ohio representative to the GFOA.
