Human Resources Director
Chris joined the City in 2006 as a Labor Relations Officer and progressed to the position of Human Resources Director in 2014. As Human Resources Director, he is responsible for employee recruitment and selection; position compensation and classification; benefits for employees and retirees; labor relations and negotiations; employee development; equal employment opportunity; and city risk management and general liability functions.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Master’s Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a Juris Doctor Degree from Stetson University College of law.
He currently serves on the Employee Retirement System Pension Board. He is also active with the National Public Employee Relations Association, the Florida Public Employee Relations Association, and the Florida Bar.
