For a mere $2900 you can give an economically disadvantage youth the gift of a college education, as well as, the potential to increase their lifetime income by more than 100 percent! According to the US Census Bureau, college graduates earn an average of $1 million more during their careers than high school graduates. The process for funding these scholarships works as follows: For every $2,900 the Mayor raises, the Pinellas Education Foundation will match it with another $2,900. The State of Florida will then match our $5,800 to total the $11,600 it takes to fund a four-year college scholarship. Please mail your tax-deductible, charitable contribution in check form, payable to:

To support the Mayor's Doorways Scholarship Program on a smaller scale, please plan to attend The Michael Andretti Foundation Gala. The Gala will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort.
