Library Invites Public to Annual Spaghetti Dinner

 St. Petersburg, Fla. (May 5, 2008) B Children are invited to bring a parent or caregiver to the St. Petersburg Public Library Annual Children’s Book Week Spaghetti Dinner at the Johnson Branch Library, 1059 18th Avenue S., Tuesday, May 13.  Mayor Baker will read a special story at 6:00 p.m. in the library’s community room.  Then the crowd will parade next door to the Enoch Davis Center where they will be served a free spaghetti dinner.   Each child who attends will receive a free book.

 The St. Petersburg Public Library Spaghetti Dinner has become a tradition in the community as a highlight of Children’s Book Week and a great opportunity for children and parents to share a reading experience.  For reservations please call the Johnson Branch Library at 893-7113 by 6 pm May 12. Adults must be accompanied by a child.
