Homes For Sale 

St. Petersburg has some great homes for sale, and many buyers find that they can move into one of these new or newly remodeled homes for less than they currently are paying for rent.
 
Through a $9 million federal stimulus grant, the city has purchased more than 20 homes that had been vacated due to foreclosure. Through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, the city has acquired and rebuilt these homes that might have otherwise become a source of blight in our neighborhoods, and now offers them for sale to buyers who qualify.
 
Not only are these homes reasonably priced, in some cases they may be purchased for as little as two percent down, they also have desirable features for the home buyer - energy efficient construction, Energy Star new appliances, security systems, Florida-friendly landscaping, hurricane resistant features and more.
