Recent Events:

• June 5 & 7 Paint day project with Childs Park Teens.
• June 22 Scrubbin Da Burg - On this day we had about 800+ youth volunteer to do various projects throughout the city.
• Sept. 30 - Care Fest - our faith based community joined the city and other local community groups in a day of caring with 300+ volnteers coming together to make our neighborhoods beautiful.

 

The N-Team

The N-Team is looking forward to another successful year filled with various projects. There's Scrubbin Da' Burg for our teens, Care Fest for our faith base community and we must not forget the everyday challenge to keep our neighborhoods safe and clean. Please take a moment and review our web page. It packed with information about the N-Team along with a few letters of compliment from the community.

Various months throughout the year, volunteers pitch in to help neighbors in need, and improve their community, by painting and fixing homes in serious need of repair. In our city, more than 2,000 volunteers have participated.

From a volunteer’s point of view, the program can be very fulfilling. Each volunteer has the opportunity to change the lives of property owners who are in need of help to maintain their properties. The pre-planning that goes into the "Paint Day" concept maximizes the volunteer efforts and enables 8 to 15 individuals to paint a house as a team on one Saturday morning.

The team concept is very valuable in recruiting volunteers. Many teams consist of members of the community, co-workers, religious organizations or schools. Such groups may find a team to paint one or several houses. Individual volunteers are also encouraged to participate.
