FirstCall Emergency Notification System The City of St. Petersburg uses the FirstCall Emergency Notification System to send public safety messages to our community. The First Call Network is a fast, effective, and efficient method for delivering real-time alerts to citizens in the time of a public safety emergency, such as an evacuation order during a hurricane or a missing child in your neighborhood. We send notification alerts via a voice message to land-line telephones, cell phones, VOIP phones and via text messages to SMS devices or email. City residents with phone numbers listed in the phone book are already registered to receive these public safety alerts, since the FirstCall system uses the telephone numbers obtained directly from the city's 911 database City residents with unlisted phone numbers or cellular telephones, or those who want to use another number as a secondary means of contact should, should click on the link below to register another telephone number. This system will be used for emergency notification purposes only. |
