Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the purchase of supplies, services, construction and contracts management. Specific responsibilities include assigning the purchase request to the buyer; reviewing the sole source justifications; planning, scheduling, and developing multi-year supplies and service blanket purchase agreements and term contracts. Also responsible for developing bids/proposals and bidders lists; reviewing addendums; selecting evaluation teams; reviewing recommendations for award; market research, vendor development.
