VISIT THE RECYCLAMAT/BRUSH SITE!

Give Your Recyclables A Second Chance!

Once you've gathered your recyclables, you can take them to one of the city's five official RecyclaMats/Brush Sites located throughout the city. Just deposit your materials into clearly labeled bins.

In addition, 17 other convenient recycling centers (collecting some, but not all recyclables) have been opened to the public to make recycling even more convenient. We'll be letting you know as we continue to open more centers near your home.

Newspaper Recycling

In addition to the City's recycling drop-off recycling program, St. Petersburg has a unique relationship with private enterprise to help collect and recycle old newspaper. SP newsprint company which is a privately held producer of newsprint provides over 100 newspaper recycling centers in the St. Petersburg community and provides a monetary return to the participants. This allows non-profit organizations to raise needed revenue and helps recycle newspaper at the same time. Please visit the following web site for a complete list of all locations in St. Petersburg. Please receive prior approval from the host facility prior to use.
