Homelessness is a serious challenge across the United States, particularly in recent years with the economic downturn. As one of America's greatest cities, St. Petersburg is an attractive destination for many, including homeless individuals. As a compassionate community, St. Petersburg strives to serve the needs of our homeless neighbors while balancing the rights of all resident to have a safe, clean and attractive community for all to enjoy.

He has visited over 496 agencies nationally and created Haven for Hope from the "best practices" of the agencies he visited.
He provided the results of his findings to the City Council on November 21st. Please see the report here.
