Baseball Parking

Parking

Loook for the Event Parking SignThere are approximately 7,000 on-site spaces at Tropicana Field. Remember, parking is free for cars with four or more passengers for Bronze-level and Sunday games.  For all other games, the first 100 vehicles with four or more passengers can park for free up to an hour prior to game time.  Parking in all other main lots at Tropicana Field will cost $10-$20 per vehicle. http://tampabay.rays.mlb.com/schedule/index.jsp?c_id=tb

There are 55 legal, private lots (nearly 4,000 spaces) around Tropicana Field that have been approved by the city for special event parking -- meeting landscaping, space size and other safety requirements. City officials report that additional property owners are applying for this approval daily.

There are approximately 25,000 parking spaces in the downtown area. When the Rays play the Yankees and the Red Sox, or anticipate a game with at least 25,000 in attendance, the Baseball Shuttle is activated. Park downtown (there are several city parking facilities, including the garage at the Shuttle pick-up stop at Central Ave. and Second St.) and ride the Shuttle for free. www.stpetetrolley.com

If you park on a city street, observe the posted parking restrictions, including timed zones. Also, only park in legal spaces. Don't block fire hydrants or driveways, or park too close to an intersection).

When parking on private property, be careful. Only park in legally permitted special event parking lots. Do not park in lots that are signed as "Tow Away Zones."
