Living With Wildlife

underlined

Residents at waterfronts edge

Wildlife contributes to St. Petersburg's beauty outdoors, but living so intimately with nature is difficult if not impossible to keep it completely out of house and home.  Pinellas County is the most densely populated county in Florida (by humans of course!). That means we have to share our land with all types of wildlife. Prepared with the right information and tools most home owners can solve problems that may arise from living so close with nature. Whether it is landscaping techniques like trimming bushes smaller to make your yard less attractive for an animal to make it a home or simply knowing more about the wildlife that you may encounter outdoors. The information in this section will help our residents learn more and adapt to living with wildlife.
