The Greenhouse St. Petersburg

The Greenhouse, formerly known as the Business Assistance Center, provides small business counseling, entrepreneurial programs, and a business resource center.  It also houses offices for the City's loan programs. Florida Manufacturing Extension Partnership

The Florida MEP (FLMEP) is a not-for-profit organization that provides assistance to manufacturers and business owners to help them grow and compete in the global market. FLMEP Lean experts provide improved productivity skills, workforce training in Lean manufacturing (elimination of waste and improved efficiency), 5S, Kaizen, VSM, supervisory, team building problem solving, exporting logistics, and supply chain integration. Through FLMEP programs, many funded by grants, companies learn tactics to innovate, save money, and implement more efficient management strategies. A volunteer, non-profit organization whose mission is to help entrepreneurs start, grow, and maintain their businesses. Mentors are seasoned, skilled executives from Tampa Bay who have managed businesses, and executed business turnarounds and growth strategies who provide free and confidential counseling to Pinellas County's small business community.
